The announcement of the prize winners will take place during a celebratory award ceremony and will open with a reading performance: actor Abak Safaei-Rad will read excerpts from the eight shortlisted books together with members of the HKW team—both in the original languages of the titles and in their German translation.

Afterwards, jury members Asal Dardan and Deniz Utlu will give an address commending the winners and present the prize. Afterwards they will join a discussion with the author and translator about the prize-winning work and its translation.
