Zas Ieluhee
Zas Ieluhee is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher whose work explores the intersections of identity, spirituality, and memory through writing and digital art. She introduced the concept of “fragmented memes” in her essay Mem’éthique (2021), analyzing how ideas mutate and colonize thought, later expanded in her essay Light Work: Black Memes’ Life Cycles and Fragmentation (2024). Through introspective imagery and poetic research, she seeks to reimagine African worldviews and reclaim ancestral knowledge as a radical tool for collective healing and transformation. Zas Ieluhee lives and works in Douala, Cameroon.
