What role does the architecture of an exhibition play? Is it important where an exhibition piece comes from? What does the year of origin say about an artwork? Taking place every Monday, Friday, and Saturday in a variety of different languages, the Conversations on Art offer exhibition visitors the opportunity to exchange ideas with mediators from HKW. Based on the interests, open questions, and varying knowledge of visitors, the themes and narratives of the exhibitions are addressed and deepened in an open conversation.

On Mondays, there are half-hourly introductions to the themes of the exhibition 15:00–15:30 and 17:00–17:30 respectively. Between 15:30–17:00 and 17:30–19:00 the guides are available for questions and conversations.

Every Friday and Saturday: Introduction to the themes of the exhibition 15:00–15:30 and 16:30–17:00 respectively. Questions and conversations with the guides are possible between 15:30–16:30 p.m. and between 17:00–18:00.

Due to the 2026 Berlin Half Marathon, between 27–29 March there are road closures in the area. HKW is fully accessible via public transport—S-Bahn (Hauptbahnhof) and U-Bahn (Bundestag)—and via bike or on foot.
