Baroud d’honneur focuses on former North African soldiers who fought in the Second World War and were later denied equal rights, recognition, and compensation. Through testimonies, intimate interviews and observational moments, the film traces ongoing struggles for dignity and justice, revealing how colonial violence extends far beyond the battlefield and into the present.

This screening is part of the Walk-in Cinema, the film programme accompanying the exhibition Tirailleurs: Trials and Tribulations.
