Sensing Sustainability—Who Owns the City? approaches the topic of climate change with all senses. Can we taste, smell, hear, or see climate change? Can we touch or haptically feel it?  Does it stimulate our intuition? The students search for places of transformation in the city. They perceive them through their senses, take field recordings, and also conduct research using virtual means. Additionally, they receive information on initiatives and artists working on transformation and climate change. The students create their own art works, choreographies, and compositions from the results of this sensory research. This creates a multi-perspective tableau of the city and its transformation from the students’ perspective. This tableau takes the status quo as a starting point, but stands for a utopia and counter plans that show the students’ urban realities.
