Bahar Meriç

Bahar Meriç is a dancer, choreographer, and project initiator. She works on a project-related and interdisciplinary basis with people of all ages in the fields of dance, theatre, performance, and community dance and develops various artistic and educational formats and programmes. The focus of her work lies in the areas of identity and diversity and in researching how these topics are located in the body. She has realized projects at the Bode Museum, Staatstheater Hannover and Residenztheater, in the Sophiensælen and for the Goethe-Institut Karachi in Pakistan, among others. She is also a founding member of Future Move e.V. Meriç lives and works in Berlin.
