Germany has never been a country of immigration; in practical terms yes, but not politically. The few political structures that were put in place to facilitate a genuine immigrant society are now being called into question and even dismantled, as authoritarian forces are on the rise. Yet living together within society is a reality. This keynote and conversation offer an analysis of the current situation and consider what the future may have in store.
