K'boko’s beats seamlessly blend organic rhythms and electronic sounds, reflecting his mission to bring the traditional music he grew up with into contemporary production. His approach is strongly influenced by the rhythms of sacred music from Brazil’s Afro-Diasporic traditions, particularly Candomblé, which honours the orixás. K'boko combines elements from African religious practices—including Keto, Nagô, Jêje, Nagô Egbá, and Bantu—and merges them with Brazilian traditions like Umbanda, Jurema, and Catimbó. Using an 808s drum machine, subsonic basslines, heavy kicks, synths, samplers, and live instruments, he fuses rhythms like Vassi de Ogum, Alujá de Xangô, Ijeshá, Samba, Baião, Congo de Ouro, Barravento, Cabula, Havamunha, and Savalu with global bass music, creating an afrofuturist experience.
