Vesna’s music is characterized by acoustic beats, electronic soundscapes and intense vocal performances. The band draws on traditional Ukrainian songs, which are given an original twist by Christian Thomé’s orchestral drumming, Jörg Surrey’s delicate sound design and Mariana Sadovska’s unsparing vocal delivery. Their live performances transcend genre boundaries and interweave the individual elements into unique musical storytelling.
