Kristina Tschesch (she/her) is a freelance film-maker, presenter, activist, and connector with space at the Rechenzentrum Potsdam. Together with the Kulturlobby Potsdam initiative, she launched the conversion of the computer centre into a socio-creative centre. For 10 years, she has been driven by a strong ideological, political, and artistic desire to ensure that this place of opportunity and exchange is not lost. In 2019, she and her colleagues at 414films released the documentary Schrott oder Chance – Ein Bauwerk spaltet Potsdam, which examines the topics of urban development and memory culture in the context of the debate surrounding the demolition of the former Institute for Teacher Training. Tschesch lives and works in Potsdam.
