Jasmina Kuhnke is a German writer, screenwriter and actor. She lives with her family in Germany. Her debut novel Schwarzes Herz is a bestseller that has been optioned by Schuldenberg Films. She is working on the screenplay for the film together with Antonia Leyla Schmidt. She received funding from the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW for her screenplay for the historical drama Afrodeutsch. The author has also worked on award-winning series and published the novel White Lives Matter and the short story Malik. In 2021, she founded the SHEROES Fund, which provides financial support to victims of digital, racially motivated violence.
