Anna Hetzer is a poet, essayist, and translator whose work mainly deals with queerfeminist narratives, histories and concepts of family, and writing urban and rural spaces. She holds a doctoral degree in medicine. Her current research as a doctoral candidate at TU Berlin deals with drugs in literary utopias. She studied at Charité Berlin, Humboldt-Universität Berlin and Université René Descartes Paris. Her latest publications include the poetry volumes Pandoras Playbox (2022); Schaum (2022); Kippbilder (2019) and a collection of essays, Körper und Zeilen (2021). She is a regular participant in the project Poesie handverlesen and took part in Zukunftsaussichten. Eine Unkonferenz Spekulativen Fabulierens at Literarisches Colloquium Berlin in 2022. Hetzer lives and works in Berlin.
