Earth. The matter Earth.
The original clay from which life came out. The one that is made of everything that has ever existed.
The primordial element. The land we walk on. The foundation.
Need to re-establish contact, to reconnect with this earth.
Feel its flavour, its taste, its smell, its noise, its texture—make them mine.
The underground, the dusty, the chthonic, the volcanic, the rocky, the mineral, the sticky, the icy. It is feminine, it is the matrix. 

She is a dancer, since she wears a tutu. I call her ‘Elle’.
She’s neither me nor anyone else.
To access the earth, to be able to put oneself in a state of total reception with the matter, ‘Elle’ must go through stages, there are things that need to come out, to purify.
It is a journey, a sort of ritual that is written through dance, gestures, movement, images, sounds, to access the primal, deep within oneself.
It goes through states, appearances, shadows, characters that come and go, emotions that are embodied.
It is hybrid, between dance and performance, with moving borders, depending on the place, the site.
A language to be deciphered that leaves much to interpretation.
It’s about bringing out archetypes, things buried in the ancestral collective memory. An attempt to escape the chaos, to find a kind of wholeness by re-connecting to the fundamentals.
A return to the impossible mother.
