Olga Schubert, PhD, is an editor for artistic publications, a cultural studies researcher and art educator. She teaches at the Institute for the History and Theory of Design at University of the Arts Berlin and is an editor at the agency from now, founded by Julia Große. She has been working at HKW since 2015 and co-curated the New Alphabet School (2019–22), a travelling school for artistic and activist research. Co-edited publications include: Tirailleurs: Trials and Tribulations. From Cannon Fodder to Avant-Garde—The Forgotten Soldiers Who Freed Europe (2026); instituting—space-making, refusal, and organizing in the arts and beyond (2023); The New Alphabet School – Practices of Knowledge Production in Art, Activism and Collective Research (2022).
