In English and German, translation to DGS (German Sign Language)

Qüpp (simo_tier, SchwarzRund & Ren Loren Britton) is a queer crip collective working with the archive of the KrüppelZeitung (Crip Newspaper). Published in Bremen between 1979 and 1985, the magazine was a site for crip and coalitional dreaming and served as a discussion point for Disability pleasures and politics. As Qüpp we pick up on this archive and activate historical continuities and ruptures that connect to present day trans*queer crip politics.

During the workshop, ongoing responses to topics that emerged in KrüppelZeitung like cross-community solidarity, destruction, gaps, and resistance practices are presented. Each participant leaves with a zine tying embodiminded experiences together with the archive of the KrüppelZeitung.
