The human ear is shaped to receive the sound of the human voice; this much we know. But what emerges from this evolutionary sonic encounter is remains an open question. In the spirit of curiosity and collective respite, Anjeline performs live chants to serve as a ‘massage’ for the ears, the heart, and the bodymind; an offering of sound to honour presence, of those seen and unseen.

In the sound-based sessions Anjeline de Dios currently offers, she relies on live intuitive chants which she spontaneously and progressively layer with a loop station. Anjeline combines the clarity of a guided meditation with the expansiveness of active listening to create an immersive mix of tones for the listeners. As with many other kinds of creatively repetitive activities, her sessions typically induce alpha and theta states of consciousness. Participants often report sensorial experiences of mental and physical relaxation, emotional release, and free-flow visualization.
