HKW for the little ones on big themes: In late summer and autumn, we are once again offering free tours for daycare centres and primary school classes. As part of the upcoming exhibition Global Fascisms, the guided tours discuss topics such as community or solidarity as practices for better coexistence. Through this approach, attendees are able to engage with intimidating themes in a child-friendly way. The works in the exhibition offer interesting starting points for this, with pieces incorporating elements such as puppetry and computer games, unusual creatures and dramatic paintings. Educator and illustrator Lisa Vasvari departs from these works to creatively revive the power of positive thinking and action with the children. The guided tour is aimed at nursery/kindergarten groups and school classes for children aged 2 to 8.

Global Fascisms (12 September–7 December 2025) focuses on historical and current contexts in which right-wing extremist ideologies thrive, interrogating contested notions such as ‘identity’, ‘community’, and ‘belonging’.

Tours are 60 minutes and can take place before regular opening hours. The offer is free of charge.

The programme can be booked to visit the exhibition, but can also include a focus on HKW’s architecture or outdoor spaces on the following dates from 10:00:
24.9. // 01.10. // 08.10. // 13.10. // 05.11. // 12.11. // 19.11. // 26.11.2025
