Yassine Balbzioui is a contemporary artist known for his multidisciplinary approach, including painting, performance, and installation art. He describes himself primarily as a painter, yet his oeuvre spans various media. Balbzioui studied at the School of Fine Arts of Casablanca, at the École supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux, and the University of California. Recent projects include: Tombé:e de la lune, Richard Wagner Museum, Bayreuth, 2025; Half Splash, RichCake, Bad Ems, 2024; and Carousel, Galerie Shart, Casablanca, 2024. Recent publications include: Identity to Rent (2023). Balbzioui lives and works in Marrakech and Marseille.
