Toussaint M. Kafarhire

Toussaint M. Kafarhire is a Jesuit priest, poet, theologian, and social scientist. He is the current managing director of the Centre Arrupe pour la Recherche et la Formation (CARF) and a visiting professor at Loyola University of Congo and Sophia University in Tokyo. He is a member of several academic networks, including the African Studies Association of Africa (ASAA), which he serves as current president. He studied philosophy, theology, Ethics and Social Theories, and Political Science. His most recent publications include Petites Promenades Littéraires (2022). Kafarhire lives and works in Lumumbashi.
