Perel

Perel is an interdisciplinary artist whose work moves between dance, performance, and text, exploring themes of disability, care, sexuality, and historical trauma. Utilizing choreography to examine power exchange between the artist and audience. Most recently, Perel has been presented at Gropius Bau in Berlin and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York. Perel received the Disability Futures Fellowship from United States Artists, as well as the Hauptstadtkulturfonds for the premiere and tour of their new work, Natural Acts.
