Nishan Dhakal is a writer and has a background in Industrial Engineering. His interests gradually evolved from Romanticism toward Existentialism, shaping a writing practice centred on inquiry, introspection, and the exploration of human consciousness. Through his writing, he seeks not only to express himself but also to ask fundamental questions, inviting readers to discover their own answers through deeper reflection. Dhakal's work is inspired by Gabriel García Márquez's use of metaphor, colour, and abstraction as literary tools for revealing deeper layers of reality. His recent work includes Nitanta: Notes Toward a New Beginning. Dhakal is based in Berlin.
