Nara

Nara (she/her) is a Black Queer producer, curator, and DJ from Rio de Janeiro. They studied Cultural and Sociocultural Studies at Europa-Universität Viadrina and currently lead the production department at Tanzfabrik Berlin Bühne. They co-curate the QTBIPoC dance festival Emerging Change. Their DJ sets blend Afro-diasporic and tropical sounds into an eclectic journey through music. From a queer-feminist, anti-racist, and intersectional perspective, they see art and club culture as transformative spaces for community, movement, and structural change. Nara lives and works in Berlin.
