Mussunda N’zombo

Domingos De Menezes Miguel (1973, Luanda) is a visual and performance artist. After emigrating during the Angolan civil war, he lived in Portugal, France, and nearly two decades in Germany, where he performed as Miguel Prince in fashion and cultural events. Returning to Angola in 2008, he created the character of Mussunda N’zombo, which is focused on performance, installation, photography, and cinema. His works address socio-political and situational realities between urban, peripheral, and rural areas in Angola, Africa, and the world. His works have been presented in exhibitions and biennials worldwide. De Menezes Miguel lives and works in Luanda.
