Miruna Vlada is a poet and political scientist whose work focuses on feminism and the post-conflict reconstruction of the Western Balkans. Since 2016 she is Associate Professor and director of the Center for European Studies at the National University of Political Science and Public Administration (SNSPA) in Bucharest.  She obtained her PhD at the same university with a thesis on the Europeanization of Bosnia and Herzegovina and held various research fellowships in Berlin, Ljubljana, Graz, and Warsaw. Since 2019 she is a member of the Board of the PEN Club Romania. Her main field of expertise is the post-conflict reconstruction of the Western Balkans  and in her academic work she has published numerous academic articles and policy papers in this field. She studied political science at the same University in Bucharest. Selected publications of her poetry include: Prematur (2021); Bosnia. Partaj (2014); Pauza Dintre Vene (2007) and Poemextrauterine (2004). Vlada lives and works in Bucharest.
