Makda Isak

Makda Isak is a Black feminist researcher, consultant, and political educator whose work focuses on anti-racism, Black feminist theories and colonial continuities. She did graduate work in sociology and gender studies at Goethe University Frankfurt and Syracuse University, New York. From 2020 to 2024, she worked in the Anti-Black Racism Competence Network at EOTO e.V., where she served as co-director for the last two years of her tenure. Makda Isak currently works as a consultant and process facilitator for organisations undergoing power-critical transformation processes.
