Lara Sielmann is a cultural journalist, literary critic and literary curator. As a literary editor and writer, she works for Deutschlandfunk Kultur, regularly hosts readings and panel discussions, dabbles in film and television, and is invited to speak as a literary expert. She has served as a judge for various literary prizes, including the German Book Prize, the Alfred Döblin Prize and the Peter Huchel Prize, and has been a visiting lecturer at Freie Universität Berlin on the Master’s programme in Applied Literary Studies – Contemporary Literature. Sielmann lives in Berlin.
