Kelvin Sholar, a fourth-generation musician, started singing as a child in Detroit. At sixteen, he won the Michigan Bach Festival Competition performing from J.S. Bach’s works on piano. Sholar later moved to New York City to perform with musicians like Stevie Wonder, Qtip, Carl Craig or Nigel Kennedy. Today,  he is credited on over 200 records, performs across the U.S., Europe, Africa and Asia, teaches at University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar, and appears in major television and film projects. Sholar is based in Berlin.
