Johanna Bröse

Johanna Bröse is a social scientist and freelance author. She studied education, sociology, and psychology at the University of Tübingen and was most recently a fellow at the Research Institute for Philosophy in Hanover. In her work, Bröse focuses on issues of authoritarian consolidation, solidarity, and memory. She recently co-edited the anthology Autoritäre Entwicklungen, extrem rechte Diskurse und demokratische Resonanzen (2025) with other researchers from the graduate college of the same name, published by Beltz-Verlag. Bröse lives and works primarily in Berlin.
