Daniele G. Daude

Jessica Ekomane is an electronic musician and sound artist. She studied art history at the University of Tours, France, and sound studies and generative art at Berlin University of the Arts. She creates situations where sound acts as a transformative element for the space and the audience. Ekomane’s works are grounded in questions such as the relationship between individual perception and collective dynamics and the investigation of listening expectations and their societal roots. Her work has been presented in venues, contemporary art spaces, and museums across the world, including Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin; KANAL – Centre Pompidou, Brussels; Art Basel; and CTM Festival, Berlin. Ekomane lives and works in Berlin.
