Jean Peters (he/him) is an investigative journalist, author, and performance artist. His work combines investigative research, media art, and theatre. His main topics are right-wing extremism, the promotion of democracy, and subversive resistance. Peters is a senior reporter at CORRECTIV and recently led the 2024 investigation Geheimplan gegen Deutschland [Secret Plan Against Germany], which earned him and his colleagues awards including 2024 Journalist of the Year. He studied political science at the Freie Universität Berlin, SOAS London and the Humboldt-Viadrina School of Governance. He is the author of the book Wenn die Hoffnung stirbt, geht’s trotzdem weiter [When Hope Dies, Life Goes On] (2021). Peters lives and works in Berlin.
