James Wootton

James Wootton is a scientist and game designer. He looks into the intersection of quantum computing and the creative industries, particularly quantum procedural content generation for games. He is the Chief Scientific Officer at Moth Quantum, and a lecturer at the University of Basel. Recent publications include Investigating the usefulness of Quantum Blur (with Marcel Pfaffhauser, 2023) and Quantum Natural Language Generation on Near-Term Devices (with Amin Karamlou and Marcel Pfaffhauser, 2022). Wootton lives and works in Basel, Switzerland.
