Ida Momennejad is a neuroscientist and AI researcher with an interdisciplinary creative practice that spans philosophy, personal essays, and installation. A Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research Lab in New York, Momennejad combines cognitive neuroscience and AI to investigate how brains build models of the world that shape memory and planning and leads projects that build and evaluate AI. They regularly publish in peer reviewed journals and books and present their scientific work. Their artistic practice includes writing, music, installation, and collaborations with visual and performance artists. Momennejad lives and works in New York City.
