Hana Yoo
Hana Yoo is a multidisciplinary artist working with video and installation. Her research-driven practice explores collective anxiety, transcendental experience, and processes of Othering through parodic storytelling that challenges psychopolitical structures. Yoo studied Media Art at the Berlin University of the Arts and is a Junge Akademie Fellow at the Akademie der Künste, Berlin. Recent exhibitions/projects include: A place never fully held, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin, 2025; and Vision and Perspective, Sungkok Art Museum and Busan Museum of Art, Seoul, 2025. In 2022, she received the Berlin Art Prize. Yoo lives and works in Berlin and Seoul.
