Halida Boughriet is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice explores non-fiction narratives and traumatic histories of political violence. Working through performance, photography, and video, her aesthetic engagement with visual archives and memories deconstructs stereotypes and highlights underrepresented subjectivities. Boughriet graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Recent works include the exhibition le genre idéal, MAC VAL, Vitry-sur-Seine, 2025 and the publication Faits divers. A hypothesis in 26 letters (2024). Boughriet lives and works between Paris and Marseille.
