Grace Dorothée Tong

Grace Dorothée Tong (1992, Yaoundé) is a mixed-media researcher who explores a variety of materials. Her work cuts across contemporary art and twentieth-century history, with a focus on indigenous knowledge and Cameroon’s sociocultural and environmental histories. She graduated in Art and Art History at the University of Douala and she is researching part-time at SAVVY Kwata Limbe. Her work has been exhibited in several institutions including SAVVY Contemporary in Berlin, Cité Internationale des Arts Paris, and Fondation H, Madagascar. Tong lives and works in Douala.
