Gigi Argyropoulou is a theorist, curator, dramaturg, and practitioner working in the fields of performance and cultural practice. She received her PhD from the University of Roehampton and has organized public programmes, interventions, performances, exhibitions, and festivals both inside and outside of institutions and publishes regularly in books and journals. She co-initiated the DIY Performance Biennial and Οχτώ/Eight (Critical Institute for Arts and Politics) in Athens. Gigi Argyropoulou was a member of the Curatorial Advisory Board of HKW’s New Alphabet School and she is also Research Fellow Lecturer at Lund University. Argyropoulou lives and works in Athens.
