Frances Wadsworth Jones

Frances Wadsworth Jones (1983, London) is a jewellery designer, maker, and educator. At the core of her practice is an interest in subverting jewellery traditions; combining a commitment to understanding and executing time-honoured processes of making with a conceptual rigour that allows these processes to be viewed in unexpected contexts. Wadsworth Jones extends the role of jewellery beyond adornment and into the realm of contemporary art and forensics. Recent exhibitions include Fear of Freedom Makes Us See Ghosts, Ateneo Art Gallery, Manila, 2022; and In Our Veins Flow Ink and Fire, 5th Kochi Muziris Biennale, 2022. Wadsworth Jones lives and works in London.
