Dodzi Dougban

Dodzi Dougban (he/him) is a deaf artist, dancer, choreographer and cultural mediator. In his work, he combines dance, sign language and visual communication with issues of accessibility, cultural participation and community. In his workshops, performances and artistic projects, he creates spaces where deaf and hearing people can come together and advocates for an inclusive cultural landscape. He works throughout Germany at the intersection of dance, sign language, visual culture and social participation. Dougban lives in Recklinghausen in North Rhine-Westphalia.
