Daniel Lind-Ramos is a painter and sculptor. His sculptures honor the Afro-Puerto Rican and Caribbean diaspora by exploring communal experiences, environmental degradation, and shared histories. He studied at the University of Puerto Rico and New York University. Recent exhibitions include: Ensamblajes, Nottingham Contemporary, 2025; El Viejo Griot, MoMA PS1, New York City, 2023; and SUSTENANCE, The Ranch, Montauk, 2021. His works were shown at the Whitney Biennial, New York City, 2019. In 2021 he was awarded with the MacArthur Fellowship. Lind-Ramos lives and works in Loiza, Puerto Rico.
