Claire Fristot is a video and interdisciplinary artist working in the fields of installation, audiovisual performance, and film. She studied at the art school in Poitiers and then visual anthropology at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris. Her artistic work combines digital and conventional techniques and has been shown in numerous museums and media art festivals, including the CTM Festival, the Stuttgart Filmwinter, and at the Goethe-Institut in Bucharest. She also works as a media/stage designer with theatre and dance companies. Fristot lives and works in Berlin.
