Berivan Kaya is an emerging musician who expresses her cultural roots through Anatolian indie sounds with Turkish lyrics. She combines Turkish folk and art music as well as Arabesque with minimalist guitar sounds, gentle electronic beats and synthwave. Her gigs create a cosy rakı-meze atmosphere where singing together is the focus. Her debut single Megaloman attracted a lot of attention in 2023. She is currently working on her first album Leb-i Rhein’da Bir Balık. Kaya’s music reflects her cultural roots and brings a fresh dynamic to the indie scene. Kaya lives and works in Cologne.
