Ayşe Güngör is an art historian and curator. She holds a PhD in Art History from Technische Universität Berlin. Her research spans art and anthropology, eco-art practices, and global art narratives. She conducted postdoctoral research at global dis:connect - Käte Hamburger Research Centre and Kunsthistorisches Institut Florenz - Max Planck-Institut. She curated the exhibitions Shifting Patterns, Kunstverein Tiergarten, Berlin, 2020; and Up in Arms, Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien, Berlin, 2019. She has teaching experience at Technische Universität Berlin and University of Zurich. Her recent book is Transitional Territories (2022). Güngör lives and works in Berlin.
