Ava Irandoost

Ava Irandoost is a filmmaker and performance artist. Working across film, music, and video installations, she explores physical and conceptual spaces, focusing on the relationship between material geometry and the memories/dreams of her protagonists. Irandoost studied architecture and later completed an MA in Art and Media / Narrative Film at Berlin University of the Arts and studied at the California Institute of the Arts. Her most recent video installation received the Karl Schmidt-Rottluff Stipendium and was presented at the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf. She also works as a music producer and DJ on international stages. Irandoost is based in Berlin and works internationally.
