Anja Zag Golob

Anja Zag Golob works as a poet, regular columnist for Slovenian national radio, and translator. In 2013 she co-founded an independent publishing house VigeVageKnjige,  which specializes in publishing comics and graphic novels, where she now works as the editor-in-chief. She studied Philosophy and Comparative Literature at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana, then worked as a theatre critic for twelve years. She occasionally still works as a dramaturg for contemporary art and dance performances.  To date she has published  five poetry collections in Slovene, and has been nominated for several prizes, receiving three. Her work, comprising whole books as well as selections of poems, is translated into twelve languages. With her family, she lives between Ljubljana and Maribor.
