Ana Pi

Ana Pi is a choreographer and ‘imagery’ artist. She was born, raised and educated in Brazil, she currently works from France and navigates the world through the regenerative layers of the African Diaspora and its radical imagination. She amplifies a line of research into ancestral dances and their actual peripheral forms, while she works as an ‘extemporary’ dancer, pedagogue, creator of spaces, and writer. Her transdisciplinary work is situated precisely between the notions of transit, displacement, belonging, superposition, memory, colors, and ordinary gestures.
