Lisa Hilli (1979, Rabaul, Papua New Guinea) is an artist and scholar and is pursuing a PhD through creative practice in the School of Culture, History & Language, ANU College of Asia and the Pacific, Australian National University. Recent exhibitions include: Collective Unease, Old Quad, University of Melbourne, 2023; Citing Ourselves, R.G. Menzies Library, Australian National University, Canberra, 2023; and Sydney Road Blaks, Counihan Gallery, Melbourne 2022. Among her recent publications are Powerhouse Galang 02 (2023) and Powerhouse Galang 01 (2022). Hilli lives and works in Naarm Melbourne.
