Do we need a new understanding of the creatures that fall under the category of the living – animals, plants, people? Does humankind need a new contract with ‘nature’? This evening focuses on the relationship between humanity and Mother Nature from an artistic perspective and asks about the meaning of ‘nutrition’: how do we treat food? Why is it unfairly distributed around the world?

Featuring Laurie Young (dancer, performance project “Natural Habitat”), Hilal Sezgin (author of “Landleben. Von einer, die raus zog”), Hans-Peter Dürr (physicist, tbc), Andreas Hoppe (TV police detective, author of “Allein unter Gurken: Mein abenteuerlicher Versuch, mich regional zu ernähren”, tbc), Thomas Macho (cultural scientist, Humboldt University Berlin), Falko Schmieder (editor of “Überleben. Historische und aktuelle Konstellationen”), Benjamin Bühler (futurologist)
