What now? The future of Russian-Polish relations

With Viktor Jerofejew (Russia) and Andrzej Stasiuk (Poland)

These two neighbours have a difficult relationship haunted by centuries of conflict and dependency. How will this relationship develop now, seventy years after the massacre at Katyn, after the Second World War and the plane crash of this year? Is the reconciliation suggested by Russia possible? Is it possible for two countries with such divergent economic and military interests to have a productive relationship and how will writers react to this? Is Andrei Stasiuk correct when he says "Russia is an example of the failure of humanity?"
