Poetry Slam for Teens
The big finale of the Berlin schools' poetry slam project
As part of the poetry slam workshop, students from grades 8 to 12 have written, edited and polished their texts with guidance from experienced slammers in the Berlin slam poetry scene. They've practised their performances as well. Now the winners of the school slams are coming together for the big finale and will perform against each other in three rounds. The audience's applause will decide who lands in the top three and who is crowned champion. The moderator of the Bastard Slam, Wolf Hogekamp, will have our applause paws swinging and shooting star of the Berlin under-20 scene, Josefine Bergholz, will heat things up along with brilliant rapper and poet Grauner.
