BELLA

BELLA (civil name Isabella Meirelles Correia Pena) is a sound artist. She produces radio art, installations, performances, compositions, soundtracks, and videos and investigates the physical and magical aspects of sound and light. She is the founder of meteoro and SO(Ñ)AR, both projects that gather and support women and non-binary people from sound arts in Latin America. She has absolved international residencies and is a fellow of the Radio Art Residency at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Her works have been shown on Cashmere Radio and Sonic Matter Festival among others. BELLA lives and works in São Paulo.
